... of Castel Church. I didn't want to do this when I was out taking this photo, but it seemed like a good idea :).
All done in the camera, I have taken the first exposure with me on the left, set the camera up again and taken the second one. I wasn’t counting on the ghostly effect, that came as a bit of a shock. This is the first time I have tried a double exposure.
I took a reading beforehand which read f8 1/80, so I exposed both shots at 1/40. I’m quite happy with the result, what do you reckon?
I've used this trick a few times and know how unpredictable the results can be - but your image is quite sucessful! The composition of the church and graveyard alone is well done, but then the added interest of the phantom images makes a person look again. Nicely done.
Thanks for your comment on my Round Tower picture. Much appreciated.
Thank you for your kind comment on my photo. I am now here snooping aroud your portfolio. You have spome very interesting captures. This one is spectral. An unearthly delight with a touch of disturbance. I enjoyed reading your about. Such fun to experiment. This effect turned out great!!! Kelly
This is a classic film image that recalls the "spirit photography" rage of the Victorians. That this was done "in the camera" is remarkable these days and shows your great control and creativity. Excellent . . .
