Hmmm... Sometimes rules are meant to be bent/broken... If you would have cropped to the right, you would have lost some of the subtle colors leading back to "Ducky"... This is why sometime the use of the "Golden Proportion" is more appropriate to a photo... I reiterate...I like the photo!

Great shot...IMHO, with the colorization in the water, and saturated colors of the Mallard...This could have bee a Painting by Monet! Good Eye!
