About Look at it carefully. They might be gone within few decades these giants of ice and snow coming from the icecore on Greenland.
Trekking in Greenland is a wonderful experience because the presence of nature is so strong and undeniable. Powerful and wild and as a human you feel so small and humble, yet so free and calm. This is actually a huge area, but when having no manmade things in sight it´s difficult to see.

I just found my dictionary and the word "Kælve" means calve. That´s the word we use when an iceberg is being born:-)

Hmmm... Well I don't know what kælvet means, but perhaps if you were to define it I could come up with an English word for you.

Thank you, Maxime:-) Greenland is really a wonderful place to be because you´re surrounded by the wild. Some like the wild cities, I prefer wild nature;-)
Best wishes,
Annemette

A lovely piece of a nature-art if I dare to call it! I’ve never have been in Greenland but -as you’ve also mentioned- I’ve heard much about the fresh and beautiful nature over there!
Your picture shows how attractive the colours are and the atmosphere has to be astonishing!
Thanks for sharing and explanation!
Best regards: Maxime

The glacier stands like its own mountain through the middle of the rest. Well shot.
