Dear Annemette: It is a beautiful view. And it is a beautiful photograph. I am sad to hear about your father, but his last view is indeed magnificent. I feel you honour his cherished memory with this glorious image.
Warmest Wishes, Aniko

Dear Doyle I“m glad that you like this image which obvious has double meaning to me. I also prefer the plants in the foreground, but I also have one where there is only water and the fishingnets:-) Best wishes, Annemette

Wow Annemette. Where to begin? While Mary's poetic comment is nice . . . the fact is we will each have a view that is our last. That being said . . . I'd like to think my view will be something this scenic. A great image for the project all in all . . . it has some of everything. The wonderful diagonal . . . the waters and reflections - trees and plants. Amazing work. I cropped to check Nick's thoughts about the foreground plants and simply don't like it (attached). It's nowhere near as good as your image with the foreground plants included. Very impressive!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Still thining about the plants in the foreground. A very hard question for me, but it's nice to have to do with such subtile differences.
To be continued...
Good night,
Nick

Dear Nick I was thinking of the golden line when making the fishingnets come down through the image like this. I“m glad you noticed it:-) Those good eyes of yours don“t ever let you down! I tried to imagine the plants out of the picture, but I think they add life and framing to the image. Thank you for commenting on my photo:-) Take care:-) Annemette

A very peaceful one, Annemette, in which perspective, reflections and coloring are enhanncing serenity. The diagonal net is a very welcome element as it balances the horizontally extending lining of the photo. In addition, those black contures of the trees give me that feeling of silence that fits very well in the overall composition.
I only don't know if the plants in the front should be left off or not. (I don't mean through cropping but already in the composition.) I can imagine that it could be very nice to have water at the bottom of the photo. I suppose that it wasn't possible to go nearer to the water? (Annemette might be a mermaid but her camera isn't ;-)
A real photo of peace & tranquility.
Take care and keep it up
Nick

Very sad and yet beautiful. You have it marvellous with the reflection and silhouette. So poignant. I wish he hadn't had a view that was his last.
