your work is mature... congratulations, a great eye , the right moment! this one is very artistic!
(Consider to clear the face: use noise>"despecle" or "dust and scratches" after you have covered the white spots with pixels of the rest of the face using the clone stamp. Then fix curves creating an adjustment layer and make any other changes you wish)

You must clean up your image before you present it. That is number one priority. If you don't, it shows a serious lack of attention to details. I think you should try this again if possible. You have something going here, work on it.

This is a terrific image, Ben, dramatic and powerful. The lighting gives a great atmosphere, especially with the contrast of the cross/shirt to his darkened face... Excellent composition as well. Just need to get rid of the white dust specks which distract from this fine image. Outstanding work.

Good concept well thought out image. I like the darkness of the face with the speculars in the eyes. One item though, a little spotting would be well recieved. The dust spots on the face are very distracting. This is a powerful image, well done

Great mood, love how the cross seems to light his body while his face remains in shadow, wonderful texture and colors

I'd like to see the face lit/exposed better.
