Nice capture, Phil. Very nice DOF and blur to the edges. Not sure about her left hand though (the right from the viewer's perspective): with this position, it looks exaggerated... the more I look at it, the more monstrous it becomes...

Thank you Dave. I did intend to blow out the background on this one ( at least that is my story and I am sticking with it!!! ) I liked the starkness of the fence and the black dress and thought a blown out background would add to the overall effect.

Thank you Jan. My intention was to blow out the background as much as possible. I shot this intending it to be b&w. There was a lot of haze, so I metered off the dress, adjusted a stop to keep the detail in her face and then let it fly! Thank you again for the nice comments

This is outstanding; the angle of display, the wire, and the jaunty pose with attitude work together to make this one a winner. I also like the backlit effect yet retention of perfect detail and exposure in the subject. Great job.
