Thank you very much, Clay!
I think I should write a bit more info about the photo, shouldn't I? I'll try that from now on. If I only weren't so lazy! ;-)
Ciao,
Nick

I see what you were going for now and did see some of the other pictures of your beautiful city in your port. You have lots of great images.

Thank you for the nice comment and idea, Clay! Your idea would have resulted in a more natural picture - and a very nice one, undoubtfully.
But here it was not the beautiful view alone, that was of interest to me. It was rather the enormous luminance difference of the sky and the ground. The town stands in the low light that enhances the reddish hues and the sky is the exact opposite in its bright blues. Letting the buildings in that low light creates a very unnatural feeling of "it is not day and it is not night", which was my aim.
Best wishes and main thanks again,
Nick

I am sure this is a wonderful view but this picture is too dark. It needs more light. The sky and clouds came out good but you can barely make out the city buildings or even the leaves of the trees right in front of you. Would love to see this shot again with more light or on a bright sunny day.
