Txules,
This has a neat depth with the sun's reflection in the foreground ripples. I think I see your concern, but if you crop out the sun you lose your "third" element...seems like. I would say fine photography as is.

thanks Ned for your great critic; the horizon is straighten, you see just the shore of the river, and he was paddiling in a very flat backwater; about metallic feel i agree with you, perhaps a pure BW would be better; i have one similar picture (http://www.usefilm.com/image/1186934.html)....best regards

Hi Txules - this is a real eyecatcher, and I think a lot of it has to do with tonality and composition (which I think is fine). Have you tried cropping to straighten the horizon - or do you want the subtle effect that he is paddling uphill? Also (and this may be the intrinsic ghostliness of digital shots like these) the surfaces and tones feel metallic, which I feel inhibits the tranquility of the scene a bit. Still - just my opinion, and overall I think it's a beautiful piece.

Spettacolare. Complimenti per la scelta della luce e dell'inquadratura. L'atmosfera che hai catturato è veramente suggestiva. Anche il riflesso del sole sulle onde è magnifico. Bellissimo lavoro.
