very good comment when i am shooting this stuff i not looking for an emotion response i just there to document what happened sort of like a human tape recorder but with a camera i have close ups of people that where ingerd or killed but i did it only as a record of the rescue pesnal working i glad you seen this in my photos it is exactly what i am trying to do

There is a surreal sense of detchment in this photograph (and your next uploaded photo) which is very interesing. It is in the 'journalism' category, but there is little attempt here to twist the viewer's emotions in depicting a human tragedy such as this. It reminds me of how I've felt when I've driven past the scene of a car crash; time seems to slow down and I'm looking at what is potentially one of the most significant moments in several people's lives as if I'm watching a movie... but a movie in which I don't know the story and I don't recognise any of the characters. The photograph itself is as much as study in colour, line and texture as a depiction of a horrific event. This feeling is heightend by your title.... '1548.jpg'. The frailty of our existence as a series of numbers, as a statistic in an accident investigation team's logbook...
