Abraços e rate UP !!!!Porque o resto é conversa !

It's good attempt in b+w. I like the long coast leading to the mountains. There's a little too much empty sky. And, the contrast is not strong enough.

This kinda picture would be better in color! BW doesn!t work here, I think.

Lany, I think you are on the right track with your black and white landscape. I particularly like the title and the explanation you provided. While the scene reads easily from left to right, I don't find my eye stopping to savor any one part of the scene. The tonal range is good but I can't find a good, clean white area with detail. There is some shadow detail. Perhaps this is due to scanning and I suspect the original print is much richer. The only other observation I would make is that a few more clouds would have been nice. A yellow or red filter would have increased contrast and made the sky a bit darker. Thanks for sharing thisimage with us. Lee LWERLING1@CHARTER.NET

great lighting and nice tones. The sky seems a little bland. Perhaps the picture would be better by cropping out most of the sky, including the cloud on the right. Or perhaps shooting with an orange or yellow filter.
