Good photograph Michaelle. Tree silhouettes are one of my favourite types. The sharpened image is better .. well done. Miles

Ok... since there have been some comments with regards to the blurred area at the bottom (we won't go into my mind on that one), attached is the "sharp" copy. Do the side by side, and let me know what you think.

Michaelle,
This is wonderful.
At first, I thought it was your holga. The blurred bottom is is a distraction. Don't know what's going on there. IMO, an image like this needs the trees in focus, since they are the image.

There's some photographic quality you've just nailed on this one. I don't know what it is, I think it's sort of an intangible quality, but I've taken several similar shots and this one is just better.
I think it's a combination of the aforementioned blur with those particular tones of the sky and the cloud patterns. It almost creates a slightly skewed perspective.
Cool.

Michaelle, Nice take on the project. I like the toning and the overall composition. Very interesting shot - I keep coming back to it for another look... :-) I'm not sure what the blurred bottom left is about, but nice shot. Sam
