An outstanding image! Lots of charm in this story image. I like the way you have only included about half of the dog in the image. It seems to work well that way. Andre

wonderful moody sky, good tones, I just wish max would have entirely in the frame instead of cutting him off just below his back.

Gorgeous dramatic sky as always, Carmen! Good idea having your dog as the frontfigure overlooking the moody landscape. I´m sorry that I don´t comment so much on your photos. I enjoy them very much:-) Best wishes Annemette

Maybe the dog are us seeing our past... I'll leave only the ears, without the body. Great shot, thanks!

B&W effect works very well with this photo.Amazing sky and depth...I agree the other friends, could be better to see the whole dog or just without the dog it would be perfect anyway. Cheers,

Added to my favorites because of the very very bracely ( and unusual croping ) a very straong connection between the dog and the tree in faraway. great composition study and interesting exposure indeed. bravo Carmen!

I really like the dog in the shot and think it makes a good focal point but I would have liked to see the whole dog. Good DOF and detail here.

PS I forgot to mention that shooting from a lower viewpoint would have isolated him more and included more of that dramatic sky- but without losing the distant line of the road! You didn't mention which lense you used here...perhaps it wasn't wide enough.

Nice idea, great sky and leading lines.I would have moved in closer to the head and not included the body below the neck or moved back to show all of Max alone before the storm. Anyway, it's a good shot! Best regards, Tony

a wonderful point of view for this excellent BW landscape; the dog is a plus in the picture that will work very well without him, as well; best regards....txules
