well, the Sahara desert, is not far away from Crete island and Greece, from the place I live, it's about 250 miles only, sometimes when the wind cames from south, it can bring sand from Sahara... that day was the worst... never seen a so yellow day again...

hahaha.... well I just did not change lenses, the only bad thing was that the air...smell.....yeap, smells funny and tastes too... after that and a bit warm temprature there wasn't problems, however that day wasn't the best of my life hehehe....
p.s. many times hapens but not so strongly, the place I live (Ctere island) is not far from Sahara desert... only about 250 miles away!!! only Medditeranian sea between...

NO need for warming filter here..:) Be careful with your camera next time this happen..:)
I think these are really big volume of sand in the air to cause this coloration, just like thick smoke.The visibility in the horizon is really bad just blank orange, very different mood, almost like a glimpse of end time, when light cannot penetrate clearly. In spite of this condition, you were able yo compose this very well John..
