About The year was 1973. The Norita never caught on so to speak. But it was a work horse -a slr 6x6. I still have mine to this very day-still works.
The 150mm Lens was brand new, and my first photo was of my dad -a long time ago. He is now deceased of course.
This photo was scanned from a very old negative. It is about 35 years of age.

Lynn, I am so flattered with your comment. I am now 63 years of age and hvae slowed down a lot. But this was my dad when he was with me ( he passed away in 1983)
I will post another Norita photo soon.

Chuck,

What a wonderful portrait by great camera.

I found you photo while searching the internet for information on the Norita 66. I am just recently started using the Norita 66 and thoroughly enjoy it. My working kit now includes 2 bodies and an assortment of lenses. You can see my Norita kit and photos taken with my Norita's here -

Thank you for sharing this photo.

Great shot with a little sadness and a lot of humor. Your work is excellent.

OK first impressions when I saw the thumbnail was that of an old photograph - nice portrait. I opened the shot and found the image to be just that, slightly softer than I expected (is it exactly in focus or is this down to the scan?).

Having read your "about" I think that this portrait is truly wonderful, a great capture of the early 70's and one that I enjoyed viewing. While there is a bit of cleaning up to be done on the digital scan, I can't suggest an improvement.

Excellent!!!!!!
