I know of only two types of people who would get up in the middle of the night and travel for hours to witness an event--photographers and astronomers. I've done it for both reasons. Your efforts paid off. This is lovely. It must have been marvelous to be standing there watching the Sun rise in this location. You have a very pretty shot to remember it by.
