Julie and I are swaping locations for NZ winter, seeing she loves the cold and I love the hot. Then she can take one herself :-). She won't need to get on her knees hahahaha.

Oh i already do use IR photography on other subjects, like statue gardens, beach shots, i even tried out with my macro lens (but no success as i need to replace my tripod first) .. but now my Sony F717 is repaired, i plan to go for more city shots because that cam makes such soft and attractive photos... See my galleries on Pbase (IR winter, spring and summer, with Sony F717)
More to come for sure !
Peter

Thank you dear Ania, not sure what you mean by interesting composition, didn't have too many choices here due to things around me, but apparently I should have got on my knees :-). Ha ha ha. Thank you so much again for your comments my dear friend

Thank you dear Julie, yes it is different. This tram goes from a place called Motat to the Zoo along a footpath. If I was as tall as you I wouldn't need to, ha ha ha. I am 6ft 2inches. I am afraid that I wouldn't be able to get back up off my knees ;-). xxoo, Dan

Hi Harry, yes it is certainly a great challege that I am really enjoying, so many things to experiment with because it is so different to normal photography, some are pretty boring and others are great. Landscapes I find to be one of the best with water and nice leafy trees

Different than your usual landscape IR shots but I like it a lot. That is a very cool looking tram, don't think you would find those here in NY. Love the colors and light here my dear friend Dan. Next time get on your knees for a lower angle ;) don't be afraid of getting dirty my dear ;) xoxo, Julie.

Dan, sorry I didn't your gear limitations also you done a very original shot I think for me it’s very important that you broke a routine because IR seems demanding more of creativity than be on typical shots. Harry

Thank you so much Harry, yes I have that problem from time to time, I am too tall. I agree that yes it would most likely be better POV from lower angle. Thank you so much for you honest opinion.
As for the F stop, I wish I could ;-), only F8 on point and shoot cameras.

It looks very interesting, Dan, in my MOP wish if you have done it on a slightly lower angle and above f11. Still very original!!! Harry
