Lovely shot. It has a real pastoral feel, with just enough drama...great series

Dear Debarshi Debjit Ghosh ( 3/8/2008) apnake overexposed part gulo burn korte bolechilen, ebong apni burn korechen o HDR korechen kintu manage korte paren ni. Its not your inability. 1) Burning the overexposed parts won't help 2) If you have used PHOTOSHOP for HDR modification, it's not at all efficient, even spcialised HDR softwares available will not be able to bring out perfect tones in highly overexposed areas. What you want to achieve can only be done by rescaling of DN values of the individual pixels. To do this you need highly sophisticated REMOTE SENSING software. Commercially available Photographic softwares are not capable of doing such. For your information the steps followed are (1)Linear contrast stretching, (2) Multiple linear stretch, (3) Logarithmic, power or functional stretch,(4) Gaussian Stretch (5) Histogram density stretching and lastly (6) Density slicing followed by image filtering. Even if you get a RS software and learn how to operate (Post Masters degree course work of 1 and half year) you will not be able to carry out in your PC at home as high and powerful dedicated servers are needed. Despite the comments made by your friends, who I presume are not at all aware of the subject of image processing, the photograph is a very good one. Best of luck and keep on snapping. Sorry for the long writeup but I could not help as this is my subject of teaching and photography my hobby.
