What a gorgeous looking little bird Dave and it's colouring is so stunning. The details are excellent including a wonderful catchlight in that beady little eye and perfectly caught with beak open and obviously singing to you. A great capture my dear friend, well done. If those branches out of focus in front of the bird were out of the way, it would be beyond all doubts, Dave, but when such a bird stands there in front of your lens then you don't ahjust branches. And the bird is pne of the very finest examples of good nature photography I have ever seen! Fascinating, really fascinating colors, textures and details! A bit loss of contrast on its beak, but still no big problem to me. The background out of DoF seems to be exactly right for letting the small protagonist steal the show.
