Suddenly I am overcome with the nostalgia of the trip I had with my university friends, Uzair Tahir (driving seat) and Haroon Ahmed Khan. It was around 7 AM and the date was 25th March, 2008.
I have pulled out this photograph from my archives to point a certain thing: First, bad cars makes the most memorable trips. They break down everywhere, no dacoits attack them thinking as if it were a piece of garbage. And yet we were carrying two very expensive cameras. Despite breaking down 6 times in 13 day-trip, we fondly remember our 89' Mehran but have vowed never to travel by this car again on a long distance trip. Our final destination was Jhelum's stupendous monument, Sher Shah Suri's fort.
