I tend to agree with Marek about having a bit more room around the window, especially on the left side. The curtain is perfect, and its white tones against the blackness inside of the house, and next to the midtones of the wall, would indeed make a great B&W photo.

Feels a little flat, smoe contrast would help. Also, although it would make it a bit cliched, including a few metres of the side of the house on the left nbext to the window would have helped.
The weathered and textured boards are great, show plenty of cahracter. Add to that a similarly 'tired' curtain being pulled out by the wind. Quite a pleasing composition.
BTW I think this shot would be very suitable for a b&w.
