Nice macro, Stuart. The different colours and textures are really good.
I think you could capitalise on the colours even more by doing a shot with the camera shifted higher and more to the right, to include a bit less of the centre and a bit more of the yellow petals. That would give you a sort of quad-circle + two coloured bands composition, which, perhaps in combination with soft focus, would make a great abstract.
