Thanks for the comment, Maggie. Yes, they looked very contrived--in this case it was deliberate. I first shot these girls when they were about 13 as part of a model contest. There were about nine of them who were going through a 'modeling school'. So thay had that air of importance and knowledge. When I did their senior pictures this was the one they did together and, of course, they had to act the part. Your comment brings me straight to reality about a shot of Phillip's I commented on a couple of weeks ago. At first glance the girl seemed a petulant brat--and it annoyed me (why should it?)but when I looked at it a few days later along with a couple of other images of her, that this was her experience and she would be thrilled with the images--and Phillip did exactly the right job for his client.

Hi William....I love the lighting and the soft focus and the saturation of the colors...but I find the setup a bit contrived. The girls just dont look relaxed...the expressions look forced to me. Technically its perfect, but...Just MHO...*smile*... Maggie
This caught my eye when I logged on today. Love the soft glow it has and the colours blend nicely - the girls are beautiful too. All adds together for a good result William. Sylvie J.
