This is great. You sure captured it at the right time. I was in one forest fire in Colorado many years ago. It is awesome the way the trees explode when they catch on fire. Hope they have it out. Don.

I remember the dry summers and the wet winters. Though I do prefere that kind of snow(rain that is). I also remember a great many fires. This is a good capture of the burning brown and green hillside of California. I seem to remember that lightning was an odditiy all togrther. Hope it is contained! Nice shot Robert!
