This is a beautiful photograph, and I love the angle of the shot. My only suggestion would be that a hightened contrast may allow the photograph to have a little more overall impact. Very good, though!

Matthew,
What makes this image flat is the tones. There is very little difference between the darkest part and lightest. B&W photography is all about tones and the speration of them, work with this imgage a litte in PS. Play with he curves and level control. Try to get a good seperation of tones. You might even need to reshoot this image with some type of filtration, use a red #25 filter to bring in a little contrast.
I did a simple level and curve adjust here to show the difference.

Matthew, this is a fine dramatic lanscape. It is a pity the image itself is so flat.Using levels in Photoshop you could improve matters greatly. Best wishes. David
