Charlie, I claim some honours - I worked out what it was... mind you it took a moment or two! I think you've got the DOF _just_ right here... there's just enough to work out what the subject is, vanishing into the blur, and once you see it you can see quite a lot there. Chris
Charlie, I love the abstraction of this photo, makes me wonder what it is... I don't think I can tell! But the angle and abstraction make me keep looking. Good use of DOF to draw your eye to the middle. Nice job with a macro lens and what looks like an abstraction of a butterfly.
