gianmarco, i don't know why this is so washed out, but there is enough left to carry the message. we are depressed or embarrassed by people in wheel chairs because we cannot imagine that their might be a worthwile life in such a position. that may be the reason why this picture had so many visits but no comments so far. i also thought that way for a long time until i met a tennis player in a wheel chair. i had my real problem playing him and found out why very soon: he was travelling in the european circus playing tournaments. it was a challenge and fun playing him from then on. one of my friends is a professional and internationally well known saxophone player and lives in a wheel chair since he was stricken by polio at the age of approx 14. he couldn't care less for pity. well, sorry for being carried away, we are talking photography here. you see how a picture can rouse emotion or passion etc. regards charlie.f.kohn@sixpence-pictures.com // madrid
