Absolutely excellent. I was out with a friend the night of the eclipse and so couldn't use my TMB refractor to take a shot and had to resort to a 200mm lens with the camera on a tripod which led to too much movement over a 4 second exposure. I'm glad you captured such a great shot so I can enjoy what might have been! Maybe I'll be in the right place in October when the next eclipse is due.

Thank you, too, Charlie. Perfect? Hmmmm, I guess not...anyway...you asked about the movement and its following. I used a astronomical telescope with a motor in its mounting that compares the earths rotation while I shot the moon.

Thank you Bjorn, no it was made out of six single pictures with PhotoPaint. If you use an aperture of 1250 mm, you can't make such a multiexposure of the moon in just one picture. The moon is to "big" than...

Hi Uwe, apparently you did much better here then I did (couldn't keep myself out of bed). You created a great set here, with a good composition, and very good detail and color. How was it done? Multiple exposures?
