About this was one of my very first posting, but I managed to scan it better using Kodak lab, got a closer quality to the print, yet the colors on the print still better.

This photo is fabulous. The variety of colours and the light play are wounderful to me. The composition is very original. I like too the way you blended your edges and merged your colours altogether.

Is too good to be true...really nice, I wonder where you found one beautiful scene like this, and was it taken at night? excuse my stupid questions, I am just wondering the black background which could not be more perfect...

This is beautiful! It looks like a painting! I have painted in a similar style to this photo. I love the simplicity and colors. :)

Thank you Mary for your comment,

Actually, most of my pictures got the blurry, motion effect, espcially my eary ones, usually used to use a slower shutter speed. But this one is different, may be because it was hand held, with little spring breeze, and too close to the flower, got the middle in sharp focuse, and the rest in motion. Any way panning (slight) could do miricals. One other thing... You may shoot a role or two to get one picture, with special effect. Hope I helped.

These colors are incredible. The background is perfect for the subject. Can you tell me how you achieved the very effective DOF/blur? I'd jump through hoops to get something like this.
