The colours in this image are amazing.. the firey reds jump off the screen! There are some things though that could be worked on to make this whole image pop. The birds and the mountains in the background don't seem to have the sharpness that they should... did you use a tripod or something else to brace the camera against? With an ISO of 800 the birds should have been sharp. As well, I find the black strip of mountains in the bg cuts the image in half... upper half sky, lower half water. If you had cropped a bit from either the top or the bottom, or recomposed your shot so that the darkness in the middle doesn't run right through the middle of the picture.
Looks like a beautiful location and if its a place that gets sunsets like this often, then I envy you!!!
