I personally think this is balanced just as it should be. Gorgeous image!

Yes I agree fully about the light. But I still do feel that the composition is a bit unbalanced.

I think if I moved to the right, the only well-lit area would be the far left of the frame, and the photo would be unbalanced. I think we need to see the light shining on the side of the levee. (By the way, the closest person in the photo is a man, in a traditional Bhutanese robe.)

Moving the camera more to the right, i think that will make the road flat and it will cut off the swirly distant road.

It's very moody because of the light and the subtle colours. I wonder though if it would have been better compositionally if you would have turned the camera more to the right, because now, the road takes a bit more than 1/4 of the image. Turning the camera more to the right would have made the road more diagonal and it would have taken a more prominent place in the photo, as a road as well as a line. I dont know what there is to see more to the right though, but maybe also more of the roof could have been included that way. And last thing :-) the house in the background wouldnt have just touched the center of the image. The position of the person in the image is perfect IMO, just wish the surroudings would have been composed around her in a slightly different way.

I wonder why, when i first saw the thumnail of this image, it carried that mystique level, But after i see the enlarge version..something seemed to be lost.

maybe everything in picture is in focus, that kind of lessen the feel of the man standing in the center, its kind of missing that drab feeling.

I like the title alot.

wow, this picture at least years old. I just started photography this summer.

This does indeed have a nice mood to it. I like the curving road leading the eye into the scene.
