Thanks everyone for the comments. Hugo - no I don't mind at all. Thanks! Jim - the shot was taken from a Washington State Ferry as it travelled between Orcas Island and Anacortes, WA. The zoom was at 120 mm so this is the best I could do. Or did you mean zoom it in Photo Shop? I've just obtained PS and don't really know how to use it yet! I'll try the tip you supplied. Thanks!

Great warm tones! Beautiful view of Mt. Baker. There is so much sky in this photo. I wonder if a tighter zoom on the mountain might be an interesting alternative. I think this would be more impressive with this framing if there were more lighting in the clouds such as at sunset. Easier said than done as an armchair photographer. Very well captured and most definitely a beautiful sight.

Great scene, Barry! Like the composition and the pastel tones. The clearing sky does it for me; it adds some tension to the photo. The brightness is a bit low, though; the image seems to have a greyish film over it. I took the liberty of tweaking the levels a bit in Photoshop; hope you don't mind....:)
Cheers,
Hugo
