Cary, I just love this shot. We don't get much snow over here any more. We have to go to Canada to find it and remind ourselves how it feels when it crunches underfoot. To see it undisturbed like this is wonderful. The little glint on the water is the icing (haha) on the cake.

Beautiful! Great title for this one, what pretty country! Think I'm partial to snow since I hail from the 'Sunshine State'! :)

A lovely image, well composed. I like the sunburst and the shape of the creek in the foreground, with its reflections.

Hi Cary, this is an excellent high contrast image. I like the composition and you have handled the tricky light very well. I read your intro with a smile. You are far from a newbie. You have a good eye for composition & balance. Photographs often say more about the photographer than the subject. Your feeling for the landscape come through. Thanks for your kind comment on my picture Storm Front. Regards John

Oh, my! The polarizer didn't help much with the straight-on sky, but it REALLY made the pond jump out. Very nicely composed as well.
