First of all I have to say that I think the title is rather fitting. Second, I like how each string has a different color, almost representative of a rainbow. A lot of detail in the facing, the golden tone is just gorgeous. Nice image.

Hi Lou, thanks for your recent comments. To me a good photo awakens some sort of emotion in the viewer, be it asking a question, making a statement or just telling a story. I think here you have hit it on the head! Excellent, i find myself asking what sort of music has been played on this guitar? and by whom? Oh, man - I really like this! Warm, peaceful, great detail - even to the texture of the strings.
I wonder what a longer view with callused fingers draped across the strings would look like. Just musing about a different picture, because I like THIS one just as it is.
