Nice composition . Original. Lack a bit of fill flash or reflected light on the front, IMO.

I think it?s a great capture, it really captured true expressions. Interesting lighting scheme, thanks for explaining it.

Hi Johan
I put a green and pink spot on the white backdrop, the girl is Irish and wanted green white and orange, but I didn't have an orange gel for the speedo head... the green comes from an ac slave in a reflector with a green plastic file folder clipped on.
On the faces... The dark faces and bodies are the result of side lighting, you can't colour the backdrop while blasting white light at it (and the faces) and I was actually trying to get this look on the faces, so two softboxes on either side and slightly to the rear, two coloured gels on the backdrop.
Johan your edit didn't come through if you were posting one.
Thanks for the comments folks.

The models seem a bit dark. Nice compositions, though.

Lots of dualitys, in this photo. I like the blue and pink background, the poses and choice of clothes. I'm just not so sure about the lighting, we can see they're smiling and very at ease, but I would like to see/understand more of their faces and emotions. Regards
