About First Attempt at taking pictures at an Air Show. This AD-6 "Sky Raider" was at "Wings Over Gillespie" near San Diego. Handheld, Very bright afternoon sun, PMode, Shutter 1/1000 sec, aperture f/4.5, Metering Center Weighted Average, no exp comp.

Thanks guys, I did get a lot of pictures but as Robert says it is a battle to get any good static shots at these things.

There was a spitefire but it was so packed in it was tough to get a good shot. Will post more. I

My Wife Shawn (she has an accout here) got a lot of pics at the show as well.

Hi Andy, super detail in this shot. I was also at an airshow and battled to get nice static shots because of the crowds and reflective tape to mark off the exhibits. It is not easy to photograph a white 'plane in bright sunlight! I did get some nice shots of a Hawker Fury which I will be posting soon.
