Andrew, this is an outstanding piece of work. The artistic abaility of the photographer is exceptional. The opacity of the girl's face is just right. The sorrowness in her face reflects the fact that the main object is the gravestone.

I've not been on here in a long time, and tonight I stumble in and find this here and I'm impressed. I love the contrasts - where sharp blends to softness and back again, it's a feast of textures for the eyes. The expression of your model works to convey something slightly haunted - I too find myself wondering about the lives of these strangers that left life behind long ago... a beautiful way to immortalize that thought.
