I'm viewing on a laptop screen; the shirt comes across pretty flat and white, in contrast with the detail in the rest of the photo.

The shirt, you mean it is too white or it lacks textures? It turns out well on my computer, in fact, I even find that my posts on usefilm are greyer than when I work on them on Photoshop.

I really like the composition on this, especially with the kitten and girl's eyes drawn by the same attraction in the distance. Is there any way to add definition to the lines of the shirt?
