same also for this one. A good presentation. Great lighting. Little bit noise at the dark - red area but not big deal.

You captured the shapes and colors very well, Diana, and the blurred center adds mystique to the shot. Keep on experimenting. You did a very good job with this one.

It must have been very difficult for you to take a deliberately blurry image, Diana, as your photo's are normally so razor sharp! However, you have created a gorgeously soft and gentle image with your sunflower, one that fits perfectly into the current project. Excelent work as always! Best regards, Chris

excellent composition. you've done a special job by moving away from the traditional way of catching such photos. the pattern which the tilted petals on the left form gives this its real essence. but i think pictures of still things that have some sort of a blurry effect should have both - some blurry elements and some sharp ones. this one only has blurred elements. atleast something shouldve been sharp too. this is just a personal opinion of mine and you do not have to worry to agree with me! anyways. good work as always. best regards. your friend. Absher.

The darkness surrounded by the warm red on the right and the bright sunny yellow above and at the right. I understand the tilte. Well chosen. The blurry effect works very well here. Excellent capture Diana.

Hello Mary Sue, Thanks for your comments. I understand why you were searching for details, but I don't think you can find them, not even with a brighter monitor I guess. I wouldn't catch any details, just to push myself on focussing just on the composition and colors. There wasn't enough lightning when I took this and I didn't want to use flash. I took the picture on a very close distance without using my macro lens (oh... that was hard! I am addicted to my macro lens!... LOL). Well .... to be honest.... I had to get used to this "blurry" thing myself, but in a way, I liked the results. Experimenting is FUN! I am looking forward to your experiment with the blurry image!

Diana, the mood and blur are quite nice together. I even like the darkness that leads to the lower right. On this monitor, I cannot see any detail in the dark area. I'd rather see at least a tad of detail, but the brighter monitor at work might show the image as you shot it.
Very interesting exploration you have shared with us! It inspires me to get to work on this project.
