A house near me has a trellis like support along the border of the property with many of this kind of fruit hanging from a very large vine. I tried to film the entire structure, but then you could not see the fruit. I could not go examine it with out trespassing. I dont think it is really a fruit, but perhaps a decorative gourd. Does anyone recognize what it is?
I think this is where they grow the green bowling pins Del :-). You know, the kid's set, with the different coloured pins. Actually, you are right it does look like an elongated gourd.
