Koalas are cute but to capture a pic of one at the SD Zoo is very hard to do. When they are out they sleep. The ones that are awake are behind 1 inch plexiglass with a bazillion tourists (and their fingerprints) in front of you.
Handheld, Shutter 1/25 sec. (elbows locked on railing), Aperture F/3.5, Pattern Metering, Canon 420EX Speedlite for fill.
Looking at the shutter speed I may be wrong about using the flash as my cam bumps to 1/60sec when flash is in the hotshoe, I thought I used it as it was darkish.
