About I like this idea but this was when I was JUST starting to explore portraiture and I used the front flash in my hotshoe and so it bleaches out the very center.

The concept I was going for is a play on the wedding rings pose we all do or have from our own wedding and extending that initial covenant to each other as husband and wife to now also including as mother and father to the beautiful angel asleep in their lap.

Just wondered what some of you might do with this concept. I invite you to attach if you have done something similar and if you haven't but have an idea I invite you to share even if it's just a brainstorming idea.

Sarah... Trish is right! This is a lovely picture. And the advice she gave also right. Experimenting is the game

You could try adding a filter I often use - 'Neat Image' which allows terrific manipulation of detail and control - hey... and it's free! You can download a copy here... http://www.neatimage.com/download.html

Regards.

I did the work in PS. first I changed it to bw. adjusted curves, then changed the colors to a touch of sepia by adding in some yellow and red. then I did a color burn to it.

I DO like it. How come when I use a service like Shutterfly it looks blown out?

What did you do to it to enhance (out of curiousity)?
