Saltwick Bay lies just east of Whitby in North Yorkshire, England. As the coast faces approximately north, this location affords many opportunities for photography at either end of the day.
Good shot David, the composition of the three rocks works well, and the slightly reddish color has a nice atmosphere. I wonder how this would look if cropped so the sky had more emphasis than the dirt and rocks in the foreground.
Great shot! I like how the two rocks on each side lead the eye into the frame. Very good tone. I agree with the other comment that the flower may distract somewhat, but it's minor. Still a great shot! Makes me want to visit the UK even more. Regards, Luke
beautiful scene, I like it very much; you have captured lovely light and find really wonderful place; although for the composition, I would crop the bottom a little bit, IMHO these yellow flowers distract the view too strong; regards Lukasz
