:) definitely not offensive! thanks very much! i have been playing around with curves, and found there are no real rules. as you say, the more you play, the more you learn. i just wanted to know if you had a trick when you set up the camera that gave you what to me seemed like an unlikely, but brilliant result, or you changed it a little bit. either way, it's definitely excellent work with amazingly effective results!

:) Yes I used PS. All that I did was create an 'S' out of the line in 'curves'. With colour shots you can reduce grey 'curtain' - but do it very very mildly. BnW is more forgiving with curves so create a big 'S' the more you play with curves and levels, the more you learn.
Not sure how much you know so I hope this isn't offensive!

Excellent. Graphically pure and full of interest. What makes this exceptional for me is the hair blown to the left of her face: the strands are drawn beautifully against the background, and I think I can even see highlights. Very beautiful.
