There is an atmosphere and a really sense of emotion in this inage that I am drawn to. It pulls me in, and makes me look at the concentration of Bill's face and really appreciate what he's doing.
The grain is also a nice effect, giving this a raw feeling.

... a moment of passion...
Is the light perfect? - I don?t know, to be honest... I like it very much, the way it is... and the extra grain adds some charm to the scene... The reversed letters on the window are the "sound speakers" of the photo, those that make us travel with the violin notes to Ireland's splendid music...
I like this very, very much!...
See ya dear friend!!!!!!!!!

Reminds me of a hundred nights in Halifax, Nova Scotia..Oh how I love the beer that comes along with going to listen to keltic music. Keiths anyone? IRISH PUB backwards in the window is great as well

Thank you Carlheinz - I'm taking that as a special honor. It is funny how one still have to shoot wide open and at the limit of what can be hand-held. I have tried to put an extra half stop of exposure beyond straight metering on this film as I do with other b/w.

Now, #3 will not hold any surprises. Still the contrast, the grain (although not excessive for such high speed film), the nice composition and the unaware pose of the subject marks this as one of the series. I like them all. A lot.

Hello Stefan - especially like the lineplay with the violin and the microphone. Good picture & well seen!

Hi Matej - my only support was an imperial pint of Guinness imbibed prior to shooting this :-) I know I am taking a chance with the 85 mm at 1/15 s, but sometimes it works out ok.

A very enjoyable series, full of emotion.
Did you use a tripod or lean against a table, or are you incredibly good at handholding? :-)
