... of Poverty. Can he ever escape this prison cell?
I was observing this man from a distance. At first, I really don't understand what he was doing. He was trying to wet a bit of the surface of the cartons lying on his push cart. The reason was plain and simple - so he can make the carton a bit soft and fold it smaller and place it in a bigger box. He doesn't have that energy anymore to simply fold it unlike, perhaps his younger years. Still, he has to do it so he can earn and feed his empty stomach.
Poverty is simply all around us even in rich countries.

Great shot, caption, & essay to go with the image Joey. Indeed even in highly industrialized countries their still exist life in the streets of the less fortunate, underprivilaged, etc, etc. Well done & nice crop.
