Now that we've met, I would like to suggest that we switch to first names. I, as you already know, am Rafi and unless you object, I'll refer to you as Samantha. In your reply to my comment on your "Vanessa" you mentioned that you were intersted to meet a psychoanalyst on "Usefilm." Your e mail address is in your bio and if you indicte that you are interested in my book, I'll send it to you at no cost to you. Despite its name, it was written with non mental-health profesionals also in mind. Best regards, Rafi rafael1930@bezeqint.net Please write, if you are interesred, "Your book" in the subject line.
Thank you very much Rafi for your kind comment and feedback, it is much appreciated :) That is what I love about this photo of 'Vanessa' is how simple it really is. Sihlouettes are wonderful to work with.
I have read your bio; very interesting indeed to have met a Psychoanalyst and author over Usefilm :) You have some great work Rafi; unique use of editing techniques and colours. Original and captivating.
This is our first, but hopefully not our last meeting on the pages of "Usefilm", Ms. P. I took the opportunity to read your bio and was impressed by your ambitions. I also looked through your portfolio and did, indeed, find many self portaits. The quality of your photos seems to make it possible to fulfill the ambitions stated in your bio and this made it difficult for me to select one photo to comment on. I finally settled on this one because I liked its relative simplicity and simplicitiy, I've been told more than once, is the secret of beauty in art. You are, of course, invited to read my bio and pay further visits to my portfolio. In the meantime, I thank you for your friendly comments on my "Evening in Nes Tziona." Best regards, Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann
