It's like a tribute or a monument to all the great inventors, artists, and scientists who have made our lives so much better. That warm amber glow just cuts through all of that bluish light, which complements each other nicely.

Yes, really nice work. And a great idea.
The colour version is in my eyes more eye-catching than the BW. And maybe you could have done some more PS work and blackend out the dark blue tinge around the light-reflection to the left.
Congrats to the SC.. Regards, Mattias

Hi Alex, Awesome shot, the exposure and details are excellent. The way the perimeter of the bulb blends in with the background is just perfect. Top Notch image!
One minor thing... I do like the subtlety in the frame with the very thin blue line, but I feel it's a bit too closely placed around the lamp. A bit more space on the left and right would do the composition more justice, I think.
Cheers,
Hugo

Pat, Thanks! In PS I only "cleaned" a little the glass. I wasn't able to find a bulb without scratches.
I soldered 2 wires to the back of the bulb and hang the bulb on it in front of black background.
