These abstracts are great. I've never seen anything like them. Very unique and they have a great presentation all to themselves.

different. this one really does seem more 3-dimensional than your other pics. it's amazing the shapes you've come up with.

This one looks like a waterfall (sideways) to me. Although it is abstract, for some reason, this one seems to have a rather erotic suggestion to it but I can't quite figure out why! Omar

Thank Hugo - I understand what you mean now. I think the areas you refer to are mainly affected by having the intensity if light dropping a little too fast for my camera to pick up all the information there. I thought using a green laser would improve my digital captures over the red laser versions since there are twice the number of sensors for that colors in the camera, but it seems that it causes a lot of confusion in the image reconstruction (from raw) process. Film will be the way I capture these from now on.

Hi Stefan, what I meant was that the distortions, due to possible flaws in the grass, or possible specs on the glass seem to be more visible in this shot, than in other, more organic patterns. This refers to the the fainter areas on the left, top right and lower part of the image.
In general, I think the more organic patterns are hardly affected by these imperfections in the glass, but in more geometrically defined compositions, these "flaws" stand out more.
This doesn't imply, however, that in this context, "flaws", "imperfections", "distortions" and such are meant negatively; it's merely a choice of words... Hope this explains what I meant more clearly,
Cheers,
Hugo

Thanks Hugo - I'm not sure what you mean by "aberrances" - would you mind elaborating? Personally I think maybe this structure has more potential than it delivers here - it would be helpful to me if you can put into words what you are seeing.

Hi!!!!!!!!! Flow... nice title for this beautiful abstract... I almost can ear the air blowing your light beams... I agree with Hugo about the aberrances... But as far as I understand this is a parameter you cannot control. I like it, anyway! Seeeeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Stefan, the horizontal alighment, as well as the increased intensity, widing a bit in the middle creates a very nice element of depth and dimension in this one. Very nice one; but there seem to be more aberrances in this shot than in the others, or is that just me? Maybe they are more easy to notice, as the compositon is a bit more geometrical than the others, not sure, though.
Cheers,
Hugo
