Shawn, I love the result! The black and white is just how I had pictured it. The sepia version is fantastic as well, it truly gives the photo a 'historic'/old-fashioned/country style. Well done!

Hello Shawn, great capture :) I personally think that if you edited this photo to make it black and white, that it would become quite an emotive photo. You may need to heighten the contrast slightly to brighten it. In black and white, the photo, I belive, will convey a strong sense of loneliness, due to the positioning of the horse. :) Just a suggestion.
