Ludovico this is excellent. Does generate for me something of the german expressionist motion pictures of the 1920's.
Most enjoyable image.

It'a a really interesting study of graphics and little blur, Lodovico. Excellent criativity. Congratulazioni.

Complimenti, Lodovico

Reminds me of Metropolis by Fritz Lang, especially the title sequence.

Ciao
E.

Hi Lodovico, Very interesting shadow play, and very well exposed creating a well balanced tonal range. On one hand, the sepia tones fits with the heavy construction, marble and geometric patterns of light and structures, but on the other hand, I think a bit more fresh and crisp tones would do more justice to the shadows and lighting effects. A personal thing, but I do believe that the current tone emphasises more of the building than of the shadows, whereas a lighter tone might've placed more emphasis on the subject of your study.

What I like most in the is image is the disruption of the repetitive and geometrical pattern of light and shadow created by the lightsource that isn't working. It creates a very subtle way of grabbing and holding the viewers attention. Also, the velvetine structure and softness of the ceiling works well. Good shot!

Cheers,

Hugo
